A Legendary Mission
In 1519, Spanish Conquistador Hernán Cortés landed on the shores of Mexico, forever changing the cultural landscape of the region. To ensure no mutiny could occur, Cortés ordered that his fleet be burned and scuttled. To this day, the remains of his fleet have never been positively identified.
Submerged Archaeological Conservancy International has made recent promising discoveries in their efforts to locate the missing fleet. As their mission and international profile continues to grow, SACI was in need of a professional identity and presence that we were able to help provide.
